Men who have excessive chest fat and wish to reduce it or to eliminate it entirely are turning in great numbers to have male breast reduction surgery. The motivation is understandable: male breasts are far from attractive, they cannot be hidden by clothes or any cosmetics, they lower a man's attractability in the eyes of women and harm his self confidence and sense of self worth. With today's advances in science and medicine, there is really no justification for a man to continue suffering from male breasts.
However, is surgery the best way?
Many guys would say "Yes, it's the only way which means it's also the best." This isn't true as there are other options. But surgery may be the best way for you personally. In order to make sure, you need to ask yourself the following questions:
1. Can you afford surgery? Male breast surgery is an expensive procedure. It costs at least 4,000$ and that's a minimum. If you're going for surgery, you shouldn't save on the doctor who is going to operate on you. Remember, you're going under the knife and that's no time to be saving your pennies. Of course, if the cost of surgery is too much for you, than you have to seek other treatment options.
2. Can you spare the time? Surgery requires almost no time to perform, but it does take some time to recover. You have to make sure you can the time off from work or college to recover from the procedure.
3. Can you stand some pain? Now don't be alarmed. A lot of guys before you have had this surgery and they came out alright. But you have to realize that the recovery will be somewhat painful. While your chest heals, you will hurt some. If you can't stand pain, or simply don't want to, surgery isn't for you.
I hope this helps you come to a decision about male breast reduction surgery.
